  About VCIPT

"Tomography is one of the few tools that gives information about what is actually happening inside",
Chemical Engineer, August 1999

"Tomographic imaging provides feedback for improved operation"
Dr D.M. Scott, Du Pont, USA, 2001

This new technology allows chemical process manufacturers to estimate the spatial distribution of phases and chemicals inside their processing vessels or pipelines. Striking augmented-reality 3-D images can be reconstructed from non-invasive peripheral sensing.

As an illustration, this is how it can work for a typical
pharmaceutical batch reactor

It's like medical body-scanning, but for chemical processes! Unlike medical imaging, a number of available techniques are very fast, simple and inexpensive. They can provide unparalleled information about what's going on inside your process.
